Get to rehab faster: POSCOR’ research project extended
The ‘POSCOR’ research project at the University Hospital of Würzburg, a digital support project for people with Long COVID, has been extended until 31.12.2025 as part of the ‘Post COVID Syndrome Funding Initiative’ of the Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention. The app helps those suffering from the condition to apply for rehab more quickly and easily in order to cut down the waiting time for a suitable rehab place. The app also provides those suffering with information on how they can manage their symptoms better and actively contribute to improving their quality of life. The programme is open to people between 18 and 64 years of age with a Long COVID diagnosis who have statutory pension insurance with DRV Nordbayern. As part of the ‘Bavarian Post COVID Network’, the project was presented at a network meeting at the Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention in Munich on 29.11.2024.
