Federal Government launches research programme on Long COVID
The German government has announced that it will fund research projects on the late effects of COVID-19 with a volume of five million euros. There are still a number of unanswered questions about Long COVID. It is known that it is possible to contract Long COVID even after a mild case of COVID-19. The primary goal of the research programme is to decipher late effects as precisely as possible in order to be able to treat those affected in the best possible way.

The Federal Government
The Federal Government, also called the Federal Cabinet, is a constitutional body of the Federal Republic of Germany and exercises executive power at federal level. According to Article 62 of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany, it consists of the Federal Chancellor and the Federal Ministers.
