Estimation: Up to 36 million Europeans could have developed Long COVID in the last three years

Up to 36 million Europeans could have developed more prolonged health problems in the course of the past 3 years after a Corona virus infection. This is the estimate of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) cites the World Health Organization’s (WHO) regional director for Europe, Dr Hans Henri P. Kluge, in a statement. According to him, Long COVID remains “[...] a complex condition we still know little about.”
